Finishing and coating
Once sheet-metal parts have been shaped and joined, they are given the finishing touches. In addition to various deburring and sanding processes, this includes cleaning and coating. We offer many widely used methods in-house and can select the right one to suit the customer’s project.

Deburring and sanding
Laser cuts or punched parts often have burrs on the edges after production. These are removed by mechanical or manual deburring. The parts are then sanded. If desired, it is even possible to sand in a decorative pattern. However, sanding and deburring are often also used to prepare parts for further finishing.
Electropolishing
Electropolishing is a method that can be used to produce absolutely smooth surfaces. Even the finest burrs and irregularities are removed. This minimises germ adhesion and provides the conditions required for high-quality cleaning. The surface also becomes shiny to a specifically controllable level. This also makes the process suitable for decorative purposes.
Bead blasting
Bead blasting is a gentle blasting process. We use it to remove primer, round edges cost-efficiently and produce decorative surfaces.
Vibratory finishing
Vibratory finishing involves rubbing the sheet-metal parts against abrasive media and an additive in a container. This method is useful for sanding, smoothing, matting, deburring and polishing sheet-metal parts cost-effectively.
Degreasing
We provide high-quality degreasing, using solvents in our programmable chamber system. Employing ultrasound, spraying, rinsing and pivoting options, as well as vacuum drying, we achieve optimal results and can carry out pre-cleaning ahead of further cleaning steps.
Cleaning
Our programmable aqueous cleaning system uses alkaline and acidic baths combined with ultrasound, several rinsing processes and a reliable drying station to deliver meticulous part cleaning at all levels from simple pre-cleaning to cleanroom compatibility. If required, parts can be sealed in airtight PE to maintain a high standard of cleanliness until final use.
Powder coating
Powder coating is one of the most effective and durable industrial coating methods – for good coat application, improved corrosion resistance, better surface quality, immediate resilience, high material yield and environmental friendliness. In general, powder coating is available in all RAL colours are, as well as in special colours. Our ability to provide a full range of powder coating services from a single source maximises customers’ flexibility and provides end-to-end quality assurance that extends all the way to part finishing. It fits seamlessly into the manufacturing process and is largely automated.
Painting
Liquid paints are decorative while also protecting surfaces effectively against corrosion. In contrast to powder coatings, liquid paints can also be applied to non-conductive surfaces. Ringele handles both smooth and textured coatings.
